Dr. Sartin’s love of animals began at an early age. He was surrounded by family pets throughout his childhood. This would ignite his life-long passion for helping animals and their families.
Immediately upon reaching working age, he took a job as a kennel assistant and worked his way up to veterinarian’s assistant. He continued this occupation throughout his high school career, while also gaining acceptance into the Early Entry Program at Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
Upon completion of both a BS in Animal and Dairy Sciences and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University, Dr. Sartin returned to his hometown of Madison, MS to work as an associate veterinarian with his life-long mentor, Dr. Don P. Garrison, at Madison-Ridgeland Animal Hospital.
In October of 2009, Dr. Sartin and his family moved to the Memphis area where he worked as the managing associate of Pet Care Professionals. During his four years in Memphis, he not only continued to build his knowledge base, but also gained experience in management and building client relationships.
Dr. Sartin is married to his high school sweetheart, Lindsey. They have two sons, Jacob and Dylon. They also have several four-legged children. Together, they enjoy spending time as a family, participating in sports and community activities.
Dr. Sartin purchased Patchell Veterinary Clinic in July 2013 and renamed it Sartin Animal Care Clinic, where he loves developing personal relationships with clients and their pets, based on quality medicine and surgery, communication, and superior service.
